India launches Intermediate Range Ballistic Missile ‘Agni-3’ of Odisha on February 06, 2026 SilverSuccessfully tested from Integrated Test Range at Pur. This launch proved all the operational and technical parameters correct. This test was conducted under the supervision of Strategic Forces Command. According to the Defense Ministry, all the technical and operational parameters of Agni-3 Intermediate Range Ballistic Missile were successful during the test.
Capable of carrying nuclear weapons

The main feature of Agni-3 missile is its speed. Its range is said to be 3 to 5 thousand kilometers. Since the weight of this missile is less, due to which its range can be further increased. It will be in the range of Pakistan and entire and most part of China in India. Its speed is Mach 15 (18,522 kilometers per hour), that is, a speed of 5 to 6 kilometers per second, which will not give India’s enemy a chance to even blink an eye. Its length is 17 meters and weight is 50 thousand kg.
What is special in Agni-3 missile?
India’s Agni-3 missile is equipped with Ring Laser Gyroscope Inertial Navigation System, the specialty of which is that the missile can change the target mid-flight. Meanwhile, the Indian Army has also taken an important step to increase its air defense and surveillance capability. Army has issued a tender worth about Rs 725 crore for the purchase of 30 low-level lightweight radars.
